A message from Sarah
Pursuing a career in medicine can feel isolating, especially when you don't have family or connections in the field. I remember talking to Nashita in our college apartment about how hard it was for me, as a pre-med, to find shadowing opportunities and get a real look into medicine. Shadowing is more than just another experience to add to your application. It gives you the chance to see what the career actually looks like, learn from physicians, and decide for yourself if medicine is the right path for you.
I believe everyone deserves that opportunity to explore a field they're interested in and get their foot in the door. As I continue my own journey through medicine, I hope we can build a community where we can share opportunities, support one another, and make the path a little easier to navigate together.
